foremost priority for each and every West Rac project is its Quality Control and
Quality Assurance procedures. The Company adheres to stringent policies to
control all facets of project quality. This is evident from the initial work
schedule incorporating daily logs and weekly updates through all project
phases. A "critical path of progress" is closely followed for the completion of
various tasks and the delivery of building materials and supplies. Job progress
is carefully monitored based on both general guidelines as well as unique
circumstances pertaining to long lead times or special orders. Equally
important is West Rac's regularly scheduled project meetings, accountability and
on-going client communications. |

Monthly or bi-weekly project reports are provided to update Management
regarding major contractors' activities/status, outstanding issues to resolve,
change orders, allowances, contract prices status as well as minutes of project
meetings. Also provided are daily logs containing a record of weather
conditions, the progress of various trades/vendors and photographs documenting
project status.
Cost containment is maximized through continual
monitoring of actual costs vs. estimated costs. When required, cash flow
forecasts are developed and value engineering and life cycle studies are
performed to promote maximum costs savings and project affordability. |
